Here we are at the tail end of summer and that can only mean one thing: it’s time for spooky season! Actually, it kind of already has been spooky season all summer for major retailers. Many of them began setting up their Halloween sections way back in early July! No wonder people complain that seasonal decor keeps being pushed earlier and earlier.
Of course, this means that by the time most normal people even begin to think about Halloween most of the best decor has long been sold out. For example, Pottery Barn released an amazing disappearing ghost mirror that went out of stock pretty quickly.
I was able to snag a few must-have items myself, like the super-fun articulated skeleton pillow and ceramic ghost luminaries below, which are now extremely hard to find.
Luckily, there are many things still available, but only if you act quickly. The best part is that as we start moving closer into October, they will start going on sale. So, let’s get into the best Halloween Decor for 2024!
Ghoulishly Good Handpicked Halloween Decorations
For 2024, we see a lot of cute decor, continuing a trend away from the overly grotesque. While the traditional colors of orange, black, white, purple and green are all still present, we also find a move towards pastels (a holdover from last year’s Barbie craze) and punchy neons.
